About Facebook Usernames

facebook-icon-for-username-generatorFacebook's username doesn't seem to be that important. At least there is no requirement to be provided when registering, and there are no obvious prompts for you to set your username. In fact, you can make your username so that your page is easier for others to remember and visit. Modifying your facebook username is very simple, as shown below:

  1. Click at the top right of any Facebook page and select Settings.
  2. Click Username.
  3. Enter your new username and your password, then click Save Changes.

Usernames must consist of alphanumeric characters (a–z, 0–9) or periods (".").
Page admins can also change the user name for Pages they support.

You'll need to be an admin to change your Page's username. If you're an admin:

  1. Click About on the left side of your Page.
  2. Click Edit next to your current Page username.
  3. Enter a new username.
  4. If the username is available and follows the guidelines for custom usernames, click Create Username.

This page generates 48 usernames by default. You can enter your own keywords to generate them. You can also limit the length of the generated usernames. If the generated usernames don't have the one you like, you only need to regenerate them.
